I'm back

Ok so it has been a while- I thought I didn't have much to blog about but I realized that I have just been under a lot of emotional baggage and allowed it to weigh me down.  If you are an English teacher don't judge me - that sentence was a total run on right.  Let me say that I am totally bummed that they are taking Abby of off ER before the end of the series.  I do think it is time for the series to end.  I can honestly say I have watched it every season since the beginning.  I don't know that I have seen every single episode, there are not many that I have missed though.  Anyway I hate to see my favorites leave shows.   Are there shows that you have watched from the beginning?  Soaps? 30 minute sitcoms?  Do share!

Drake and I laughed at the preview showing Abby leaving before The Office came on. Sorry. I watched L.A. Law until Victor Sifuentes left. Does that count?

does Sesame Street count? I watched is as a child in the 70's, then I watched it with my little brother in the 80's, and I've watched it for the past 10 years with my girls. anything Jim Henson actually... have you seen Sid the Science Kid? it's one of his too!

I have watched ER since the beginning, too. There are several seasons that I didn't watch as faithfully, but I have watched most episodes, probably. I remember freaking out when Carter was stabbed...that was a scary one. And I cried so hard when Dr. Green died. I can't hear "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" without thinking of that episode.

I used to watch ER but lost it somewhere along the way when life got to busy and I didn't have a VCR. Now that we have a DVR, I'm in hog heaven!

I watched all of Gilmore Girls, even when it was bad. I just kept thinking, "SURELY it will get better!"

I've watched some TV shows on DVD over the years, too -- Alias, 24, Veronica Mars, Arrested Development....

Yep. I like TV. :)

My first series to go all the way through was probably 90210. Dorky, I know...but early 90s---so cool! (The first couple seasons I had to sneak it because my Mom hated that show and rightly so thought it was inappropriate for me.) Then came Friends...every episode. And lastly, Gilmore girls. I feel that they were my Tuesday evening friends and oh how I miss them.
Glad you are back to blogging.

All the CSI's, including the "horrible-acting" CSI: Miami, where everyone is beautiful, tanned, thin and dresses in Easter egg colors to show off their tans even more. Haven't missed any of them and even watch the re-runs, acting as if I don't know "who done it." I think I was a Crime Scene Investigator in a previous life. ha!
