I'm walking, and walking and walking

In 4 days I will leave to accomplish something that I think is the most amazing challenge of my life.  I will be walking in the breast cancer 3day.  My team and I along with so many others will be walking 60 miles over the course of 3 days to honor those who have fought and won, fought and lost, or are currently fighting breast cancer.  I am both proud and humbled to participate in this event.  Each team member is required to raise $2200 in order to participate.  If you feel that this is something you would be able to help me with I will post the web address that will help you to do that.  More than needing those funds however I need prayer.  Prayer for my feet, stamina, emotions.  Prayer that I will be able to use my life as a gift to others as the Holy Spirit guides my path.  Someone asked recently if I thought that this was the best year to have done this with 4 kids (one very little).  When you go to the website you will read my story and know why this year is the right year.  If you know of anyone struggling with this disease currently, has won their battle or has lost it in years past- let me know their names- I will write them on my tent, tee-shirts wherever I need to in order that I may mention them by name with each and every step.  Thank you in advance for your support!

Ricky's grandmother, Helen Butler, lost the battle with breast cancer as well as my great grandmother, Honorhea Hallmark (weird name, I know!) My cousin Whitney Smith beat the battle and is doing well! Love you!
