Don't bite your friends?!

So I love Nick Jr. and Noggin.  While I like most shows, there are a few that get on my nerves.  Yo Gabba Gabba is one of them.  I know there are those out there that love it but it is not one of my favorites.  Jaxon however, loves it so I let him watch it and that is usually when I bury myself in something that will keep me busy and out of earshot.  Today I was cleaning out the laundry room (also known as the I don't know where to put this so I'll shove it in the laundry room room) and as I came through the living room I heard them singing "Don't, Don't, Don't bite your friends".  It continued by showing each of the friends eating and doing normal things with mouths while still stressing not to bite your friends.  At the end of the song the pink thing said, "I'm sorry".  While not a big fan I am intrigued by the way they addressed a developmentally appropriate way of showing stress to an audience that is probably watching.  I had 3 biters and have dealt with many others and I always say mouths are not for biting friends.  Good job Yo Gabba Gabba people- but I'm still not going to watch you ; )

LOL - 'Don't, Don't, Don't bite your friends!' 'Don't, Don't, Don't bite your friends!'

How come nobody ever told my kitty or my ex-husbands that??

Oh, just kidding. Everybody fan themselves and take a Xanex.

i seriously think the people that made that show had too many "special brownies" but scarlett LOVES it! when the kids introduce themselves and say they like to dance, she does too. she even drew a picture of muno, tootie, and plex and has it on the door to her room. i think they're creepy.

What is it about that show that makes kids LOVE it and adults want to tear their ears off. I can't get "There's a party in my tummy, so yummy, so yummy." out of my head but Morgandy thinks its great. Go figure.

Ok, I have to admit...I kind of like it! I think I am the only Mommy on the planet that does. Maybe it is because it feels like I am on a "trip" for 30 mintes of the day. It is just so odd even the name, just bizarre. But it usually gets my kids dancing- especially Briggs. It is very simple and they always have someone kind of famous on. I like the one where they are trying to be quiet for the birds and the green one just starts going crazy and has to be "loud, loud, loud"--so true. Sometimes 3 year olds just can't be quiet any longer! Anyway, I would much prefer Yo Gabba to WonderPets.

Is that the show with the pink, yellow and green things dancing around? It's like watching a bigger version of the Teletubbies -- who remembers that ridiculous show?? Where do these people come up with these ideas?

I don't like it either and I am very suspicious of DJ LanceRock. A man in all orange, a fuzzy hat and weird glasses? C'mon now...I agree they tackle some good issues and Lindy loves to show off her dancy dance. There's a party in my tummy, so yummy, so yummy...There's a party in my tummy, so yummy, so yummy...

Great. Now I have to get that out of my head....

I think it must be LSD for kids...

thanks for sharing Kayren! this one has been particularly helpful at our house. I found a clip so we can watch it anytime we want :)

as far as the "annoying" factor goes, it's about the same level as Teletubbies and Boobah... but yes, the kids love it!
